Disguised Tears: A Poetic Journey of Hidden Sorrow

"Disguised Tears" is a poignant poem written by Satria Pugar Alam. It captures the emotions of a person who is experiencing deep sadness and despair, but conceals their true feelings behind a facade. The poem vividly portrays the metaphorical connection between the protagonist's tears and the pouring rain, as they merge and camouflage the pain within. The thunderous storm serves as a backdrop, intensifying the protagonist's internal struggle and the futility of expressing their anguish. The poem explores themes of hidden sorrow, the weight of loneliness, and the inability to convey one's emotions to the outside world. Through evocative imagery and expressive language, "Disguised Tears" invites readers to reflect on the complexities of human emotions and the power of external appearances.

Disguised Tears

Sad poem compilation

By : Satria Pugar Alam

Amidst the dark and stormy night,

I stand as helpless defeated knight.

Alone, I dwell in shadows deep,

My heart shrouded in darkness' keep,

Lost in the void of endless night,

Filled with hopelessness, no glimmer of light.

Heavy raindrops pour from the sky,

Camouflaging tears I can't deny.

Invisible tears merge with the rain,

Hiding my sadness, numbing the pain.

No one can see, no one can tell,

As I shroud my emotions under nature's spell.

Disguised tears blend with the downpour,

Masking my sorrow, forevermore.

I scream aloud as the lightning cracks,

But my cries are lost in the thunder's attacks,

Muffled by the storm's resounding roar,

I devote my heart more and more.

I scream aloud as the lightning's blaze,

But my cries are lost in the thunder's maze,

Muffled by the storm's resembling haze,

As I pour out my anguish, in muted daze.

I scream aloud as lightning flashes,

But my cries are drowned by thunder's crashes,

Despair echoes in the endless rain,

But my anguish remains unseen, in vain.
